Grand Prairie ISD adopted that same philosophy with these “6 Plays.” Each “play” addresses either a specific function (instructional delivery) or a broader concept (relationship building, leadership). All of these things, when done with intention and focus, drive the day-to-day operation of the district with one goal in mind: Student Achievement.

GPISD offers regionally competitive salaries and compensation packages and pays the maximum allowed in Texas for employee health insurance coverage. GPISD also provides safe, secure, state-of-the-art classrooms and each teacher and instructional staff member is provided the use of an iPad and the choice of an Apple or PC laptop computer to aid in the delivery of 21st century learning for all students.
