UTA is dedicated to producing the lifelong learners and critical thinkers our region and nation demand. The university enjoys a global enrollment of over 58,000 students enrolled in over 180 degree programs. The College of Education is fully accredited through the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and in 2006 became the first College of Education within the UT System to receive accreditation through the prestigious National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education. The college currently offers bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees through its academic units: the Departments of Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. Students may also pursue professional teacher, administrator and other certifications.

$2,500 The Future Teacher Scholarship for Undergraduate Transfer Students is available to rising college juniors and college transfer students.
$5,000 The Dean’s Undergraduate Teacher Education Scholarship is available to first time freshmen, education intended, outstanding academic scholars. It is renewable for three additional years.
$2,500 The Become a Teacher Scholarship is available to first-time freshmen intending to study education.
$10,000 The Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program (Undergraduate and Post-Baccalaureate) is available to Juniors and Seniors with an undergraduate major in any STEM field or graduate Students with an undergraduate degree in any STEM field.
